Azad Chichmanian

Azad Chichmanian is a partner at NEUF architect(e)s, a 140-person design firm with offices in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. He leads a multi-disciplinary team currently working on complex, mixed-use projects across Canada and overseas, recipient of multiple design awards, most notably for their work on the recently completed new CHUM – a large university teaching hospital in downtown Montreal. An active member of Montreal’s design community and a proponent of its renewal, Azad has been an invited guest critic at McGill University’s School of Architecture, Université de Montréal, Daniels School of Architecture and an invited speaker at a number of conferences, including the World Design Summit, World Architecture Festival, European Healthcare Design, Mission Design, MTL du Futur, IIDEX and RDV Design. In 2018, Azad was named a Goodwill Ambassador in the AGBU’s Bridge for CSO’s program and was in an invited critic at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.
